About Pastel

Hi! I’m Julianna Pastella - a creative director and entrepreneur based in Syracuse, NY, and the woman behind PASTEL. I specialize in bridal and fashion editorial makeup, wardrobe, set and event styling, and campaign consulting. I founded PASTEL in 2015 and have been honored to see my work featured by Vogue Italia, Dark Beauty Magazine, Ruffled Blog, and as a frequent contributor to Syracuse Woman Magazine.

When I’m not creating, you’ll most likely find me at home with my husband, our sweet one-year-old daughter, and our tabby girl—soaking up the everyday moments that inspire so much of my work. We love spending time outdoors in the Finger Lakes, the Adirondacks, and along the coast of Lake Ontario—hiking beautiful landscapes, listening to live music, and sharing great meals together.
